My name is Christoph Kulle, a portrait artist with a passion for fine, detailed pencil drawings.
The objective focus on shapes and lines, the precision with which the hand draws what the eye sees, - for me, all of this ultimately contributes to achieving a "pure" unadulterated expression of the subject.
For me, art is "a moment of truth", that I capture in my drawings, only to let go of it again immediately. This leaves room for the viewer's emotions and their very own relationship to the picture.
